ORDERS & PAYMENT

Where can I buy your gear?
 

For the most part, orders are only taken through our webshop and by email. If you want to have a look at the range in person, sign up to our mailing list so you can be notified when we take our range on the road. We’ll often travel to events in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane.
 
How long before my order is processed and sent?
 

We are a made-to-order business. This means we manufacture your goods once an order has been placed. Our general timeline is that your order will be made within 4 business days. We do our best to make your gear as soon as possible and most of the time, your order should only take a few days before dispatch. If we know that your order will take more than a week to make, we’ll always contact you to make sure you’re ok with it.
 
How can I check the status of my order?
 

Easy, just login with your sign in details, and go to the Account History tab on the left to check your order status.
 
Can I change or cancel my order?
 

Yes, but only on the condition that your order has not been sent. If you change your mind on an order, we advise you to contact us immediately. Please quote your order number and desired changes when contacting us.
 
Will I have to pay any taxes or duties on my order?
 

This will depend on the Customs agency of the country being delivered to and whether the value of your order falls under the Tax-free threshold for import duties. We advise that all such taxes and duties are the responsibility of the customer. For more information please check with your local Customs office.
 
Payment 

We currently accept Paypal and credit card payments. With the exception of Paypal and Paypal credit card purchases all other credit card purchases will be processed and authorized by our approved payment gateway SecurePay. We do not store or see the credit card details. We also accept orders via email.

Sorry, at this time we are unable to accept payment via cheque, bank transfer or any method other than those listed above.

All payments are processed in $AUD. If you view the website in another currency, your order total will be converted to $AUD at the time your order is placed. The currency converter is provided as a guide only.

Eligibility to purchase

Purchasing products on Army of Men is only available to individuals who meet our terms of eligibility. All purchasers must be over 18 years of age. All purchasers must have been issued with either a valid credit card by a bank or have a valid Paypal account. The individual’s application to open an account must be acceptable to Army of Men and the individual agrees to authorise SecurePay and Paypal, (on behalf of Army of Men) to process the charge or charges on their credit card or Paypal account in the amount of the total purchase price for the merchandise which they purchase.

Furthermore, you agree that SecurePay and Paypal, on behalf of Army of Men, may use personal information provided by you in order to conduct appropriate anti fraud checks. Personal Information that you provide may be disclosed to a credit reference or fraud prevention agency, which may keep a record of that information.

Order approval

After you place your order, you will be sent an email confirming that it has been received and your credit card or Paypal account has been charged.

Your card is debited at the time you submitted your order at Paypal or via SecurePay on our website. If your order has not been approved you will be notified immediately via our website or by Paypal.

Army of Men product is made to order and we aim to manufacture and ship any orders received within a maximum of 2 weeks time. Most of the time, we will be able to ship your goods sooner. We only keep a limited range in stock, but goods that are kept in stock will be shipped within 1 working day.

In the rare instance that your order is approved but the components needed to manufacture any of the items you have ordered are not available, we will contact you immediately by phone or email to arrange for a full refund or product exchange if preferred. Unless you cancel your order, acceptance of your order and completion of the contract between you and Army of Men will be completed when we email you to confirm the goods have been dispatched. Army of Men's website and communication is always conducted in English and therefore the final sale contract will also be in English.

We reserve the right not to accept your order in the event, for example, that we are unable to obtain authorisation for payment, that shipping restrictions apply to a particular item, that the item ordered is out of stock or does not satisfy our quality control standards and is withdrawn, or that you do not meet the eligibility criteria.

Cancellation by us
At Army of Men we will do our best to ensure your order is fulfilled. However, we reserve the right to cancel the order if one or other of the following circumstances apply:
• we do not have sufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered.
• we do not have sufficient stock of components to manufacture the goods you have ordered.
• we do not deliver to your area or country
In the event of cancellation, we will contact you by e-mail, or phone within 24 hours of receiving your order. If we cannot fulfil the order we will re-credit your account immediately. Army of Men will re-credit your account for the value of the goods and shipping only. Army of Men does not reimburse any bank charges you may have incurred in the transaction.

Please note card refunds may take up to 10 business days for your bank to complete depending on their processing time. This can vary greatly between card issuers and unfortunately we are unable to influence this.

Cancellation by you
Army of Men product is generally made to order and we aim to manufacture and ship any orders received within 2-4 business days. If you contact us and the order has already shipped we cannot cancel the order. However if the order has not been shipped Army of Men will happily cancel the order and credit your account. We do, however, sometimes carry stock of limited products and will be able to ship immediately.

Online Security

We use GeoTrust Secure Socket Layering (SSL), the industry standard encryption technology that ensures safe Internet transmission of your personal information.
SSL encrypts and protects the data you send to us over the Internet. If SSL is enabled then you will see a padlock at the top of your browser. You can click on this to find out information about the SSL digital certificate registration. You will also notice that when you look at the location (URL) field at the top of the browser you will see it begin with 'https:' instead of the normal 'http:'. This means that you are in secure mode.

We practice safe e–commerce and do not store credit card details. For your safety and protection, we will confirm that the billing address you provide matches the address on file with your credit card company to ensure your credit card is not being used fraudulently.
